Initial Collaborators

This proposal described an interuniversity, interdepartmental, collaborative approach to address the critical shortage of exceptional student educators in local districts as well as bolster falling credit hours and FTE in Exceptional Student Education courses at Florida's universities.  Implementation of the Virtual Varying Exceptionalities (VE) Master's Degree Program throughout the state will involve all Departments of Special Education teacher preparation programs in the SUS.  Each Department chairperson has expressed support for the concept of the Virtual VE Master's Degree Program.  Listed below are the initial collaborating chairpersons, their departments and universities:
